Yesterday, the former Minister for Manpower Tan Chuan-Jin launched an enhanced Place-and-Train programme targeted at professionals, managers and executives.
Known as P-Max, it seeks to place over 3,000 PMEs in jobs with small and medium enterprises over the next three years.
At the launch, 12 companies pledged
to offer place-and-train spots for PMEs through the P-Max programme.
Supported by the Workforce Development Agency, the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises is one of the appointed managers of the programme.
