On February 3rd, Wednesday, pest control firm and a member of ASME, PestBusters Pte Ltd, unveiled its Operations Command Centre at its brand new premises to industry partners, distinguished guests and the media. A successful recipient of the Lean Enterprise Development (LED) Scheme that the Ministry of Manpower introduced to help SMEs become more manpower-lean in their operations and processes, the opening ceremony also marked the enterprise’s move to be more productive through the utilization of body cameras and drones that would better assist employees in their daily pest control tasks.

Gracing the special occasion was Minister for Manpower Mr Lim Swee Say who highlighted PestBusters as an example of effectively leveraging on technology and other innovative methods to transform and streamline business processes that would help reduce business costs in the long run. He also commended the support and involvement of organisations like e2i as well as ASME, the latter one of the nine TACs and industry partners appointed as LED Multipliers.

Moving forward, the association aims to reach out to more SMEs interested in tapping on the LED scheme to manage their manpower-related problems and develop skilled workers for the benefi t and advancement of their enterprises.
